Regional Sales Manager - Fabricating Machine Tools

AJ Machinery, a growing sales and consulting firm, is looking for enthusiastic, personable, and conscientious sales professionals to effectively market and sell metal fabricating equipment. Applicants must be eager to assist clients and have the ability to maintain a professional conversation as AJ Machinery is well known for their level of client service. This position implements a consultative sales approach; previous sales experience, along with the provided training, will be necessary for success. All positions have a great opportunity for advancement as AJ Machinery is positioned for future growth and advancement in this dynamic marketplace. Our sales professionals currently cover the 5 state area including: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Responsibilities of the outside sales position at AJ include generating sales in an assigned territory and maintaining a client account list. The individual must be comfortable cultivating leads, building strong relationships with clients, working with inside sales and staff to quote orders, tracking the status of orders, and proactively communicating with clients.

All candidates must possess a High School Diploma and have at least five years of sales experience. The individual should possess some working knowledge of, or have experience in, the metal fabricating industry. He or she must have great communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, have access to a reliable vehicle, and possess a valid Driver's License; travel within the territory is a requirement of the position. Fluency in common technology is important; the hired individual will be utilizing a laptop computer, a fax and copy machine, a cell phone, as well as database and navigation software systems. these communication mediums are necessary to the position and its functions. A four-year degree is considered a plus, but is not necessary. Experience in the metal fabrication industry is highly regarded.
