Short-term gains such as reduced customer lead-times and improved on-time deliveries can also result from the use of JobTrak; the outcome of better resource allocation, companywide. Efficient sheet/plate processing needs to be taken seriously, so take a serious look at how JobTrak can help!

JobTrak is loaded on to one network PC (LAN/WAN) and each compatible* CNC machine control. Whether there is only one or if there are one hundred cutting machines in operation, JobTrak’s ActiveX control module provides the ability to interact with the system, automatically tracking the controller and operator activity. Any period of inactivity at the machine will cause the control to prompt the operator to choose a non-cutting activity status.
This closed-loop system makes it possible for the current activity of all machines on the system to be viewed from any location on the network. Summary activity data can be viewed at any level of the system (building, cell group, cell and cutting machine) at any time. A graphical chart displays the percentages of time spent on cutting, setting up, waiting on operator, waiting for material, consumable change, maintenance, and more. JobTrak also provides flexible reporting capabilities with both standard and customizable reports.
JobTrak is designed to interface with other MTC and third-party software products. JobTrak utilizes ODBC (Object Database Connectivity) architecture to ensure maximum flexibility in database platform compatibility and inter-system connectivity.
For those cutting machines that do not provide a method of direct data collection, an industrial, touch-screen, Windows NT™- based PC can be mounted directly to the cutting machine controller. This PC provides the cutting machine operator with convenient access to the JobTrak system right at the cutting machine and improves overall system reliability and accuracy.
* JobTrak is currently available for use directly on Burny 10 and Burny Phantom CNC controls. If you have other brands of control you would like to use with JobTrak, contact your nearest MTC office to learn about how we can interface JobTrak.
