Lion 1836 Powered Cleat Bender

LION named its invention the Cleatfolder because it can be either a Cleat Bender (producing 180° drives) or a combination Cleat Bender and Barfolder (producing many angles including acute, obtuse, standing seams, 90° , corner locks, s-cleats, etc.) Originally created to decrease operator fatigue and increase production time, the original machines are in still service after thirty years!

Standard Features include, but are not limited to:

One position back gauge set at 7/16 or 1 inch
One 180° bend angle setting
Heat treated back gauge fingers (on 1836-0 model only) to accommodate for plasma cut sheet metal edges
Built using 1/2 inch thick steel A36 plate
Can bend up to 36 inches of up to 18 gauge mild steel
Drive hems can be 7/16 inch to 1 inch wide.

Optional Features include, but are not limited to:

Up to three switch selectable back gauge positions
Solid bending bar to discourage bend dimples
Slotted table bar (with fingers) for box and pan manufacturing
Up to three bend angle settings
Heat treated bending bar to accommodate plasma cut edge

1836-0	Clearbender Only, Fixed back guage, preset at 7/16" or 1/2" with a bend angle preset at 180°

Safety: LION Cleatfolders come equipped with all guards in place and ready for operation. Hook 90-100 PSI up to the machine when it arrives and begin bending. As the signs on our machines say…KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE…we cannot stress that enough!

Warranty: New machines have a warranty of 30 days on factory labor and 2 years on parts. Customer and/or dealer negligence voids all warranties. Damaged caused in shipment should be claimed with the freight carrier.
