These machines will bend cheeks (flanges) in the throat of a square elbow as well as on blanks/flats. Single sided cheek benders make great additions to service trucks for on-site jobs because of the limited space requirement of the single sided cheek bender. Double sided cheek benders (commonly called "open throat")afford operation of either side of the machine providing easier operation with difficult pieces.
