Contestor products have a specially designed positive rake tooth form and set sequence for long tool life and straighter cutting. Contestor GT features a ground tooth profile for sharper teeth and smoother gullet finish. Tooth design increases beam strength for higher feed pressures. The result is a product that provides exceptional tool life.

Cutting Recommendations

All cutting operations - production and non-production of materials with moderate to difficult machinability.
Use when life of blade is of primary concern.
From solids/heavy wall tubing of alloy steels through stainless steel and tool steels such as H13, D2, A2.
For use also on aerospace alloys such as Ti-6Al-4V, 17-4PH, Monel® and Inconel®.
