Aksha Fibre Pro Laser Marking System
Why use a Laser Marking System?
PERMANENT
Laser marking is permanent and indelible marking process, which stands against wiping, scuffing, impacts, wear and tear, can only be removed by grinding or surface removal. Thus laser - marking sustains authenticity of your brand against sort of tempering
NON-CONTACT TYPE
Laser marking is non-contact type process. It does not produce any deformation in product unlike in punching, stamping, pneumatic pin, vibratory pencil etc. This gives accurate and aesthetic marking independent of hardness of material.
FLEXIBILITY
Laser marking is highly flexible process compared to any other marking process. It can mark any images and fonts without changing any punch, die, stencil etc. unlike other conventional process.
AESTHETIC/ACCURACY
Since laser can produce very fine beam with accuracy in micron, many accurate and micro details with precision can be marked with laser marking. Laser can produce aesthetic images which otherwise difficult to create with other marking process.
NO PRE/POST PROCESSING
Since Laser marking is non-contact type, no pre or post processing is required, which in turn significantly increase marking productivity.
LOW OPERATING COST
Laser marking helps significantly in cutting operating cost by reducing labor cost, tool cost, consumable cost, set up time, rejection improved cycle time.
AUTOMATION
One of the prime advantage of laser marking is that it can be automized and can be integrated with any online process. With support of software, even variable serial nos., batch nos., date of bar code can be marked.
Key Features of a Laser Marking System
LIFE
Fiber laser is pumped with special high power multimode diodes via cladding surrounding as single mode core. Life of this individual multimode diode is quite long corresponding to conventional diode pump solid-state laser (DPSSL).
Maintenance Free
Fiber laser is virtually Maintenance Free compared to other conventional laser, as it doesn’t have mirror to be aligned and almost no optical components, which could have been damaged.
PUMP DESIGN
Fiber laser is pumped by multiple identical diodes all feeding same gain medium, whereas DPSSL is pumped by a single diode bar. In the unlikely event of failure of any single pump diode in the fiber laser, the laser continues to work with slightly lower specification. In case of DPSSL, the total laser fails if diode stops working.
BEAM QUALITY
The out put beam quality is exceptionally good with diffraction of m2 &rlt; 1.5 to 2.0 depending on the power requirement. This leads to better performance and Improves power to work ratio.
COOLING
Fiber laser system is air cooled rather water-cooled multi-channel diode bars.
OPERATING COST
It operates at very low electricity consumption and it normally cooled by just air-cooling, which leads to significantly lower operating cost.
HEAT DISSIPATION
The total power generation and build in fiber laser occurs along a long length of fiber. Thus heat is dispersed over a large surface area unlike DPSSL where heat is normally localized, leading to failure.
DIODE REPLACEMENT COSTS
Thanks to multiple diode pumping and moduler design, fiber laser has very little chances of failure. Hence diode replacement cost relative to DPSSL is very low.
BEAM DELIVERY
The biggest benefit of fiber laser is that the Gain Medium is fiber & delivery is also through the fiber. This leads to less chances of failure at coupling point between gain medium and delivery when extended to the workplace.
EFFICIENCY
The efficiency of fiber is up to 20%
